Mission Alive Canada (MAC) exists to come alongside local churches, helping them discover new opportunities for outreach, evangelism, discipleship, and mission. We recognize that churches and their leaders often need practical support as they navigate the everyday demands of ministry.

To serve and strengthen local congregations, MAC offers the following services:

Do you need someone to cover a Sunday while your preacher is away? Someone to teach an ongoing Bible class? Perhaps you need a preacher for a month or two, or an interim preacher while you search for your next minister.

MAC can provide Jeremy Hoover to help meet these needs, offering flexible preaching and teaching support based on the needs of your congregation.

MAC can lead and facilitate workshops and seminars designed to equip churches and their members for mission and ministry.

Topics can include:

• Neighbourhood ministry
• Discipleship and disciple-making
• Communal discernment and decision-making
• Prayer
• Developing a missional mindset

Workshops can be designed as a single-day experience or a multi-day event, depending on the needs and goals of your congregation. Contact us to discuss what would be most helpful for your church.

Sometimes a church needs additional help for a specific season, ministry initiative, or project.

Perhaps you need someone to lead a discipleship group, launch a new ministry, develop an outreach initiative, or help get an existing program off the ground.

MAC can partner with your church on a short-term basis, providing ministry leadership and support for a defined period of time or specific project.

Ministry can be demanding, and it can sometimes feel like a lonely road. Ministers, elders, and other church leaders all benefit from having someone they can talk with, learn from, and process ministry challenges alongside.

Through a team of experienced coaches, MAC provides coaching, mentorship, and support for ministers and church leaders, either individually or in small groups.

Coaching can help leaders:

• Work through specific ministry challenges
• Strengthen preaching and teaching
• Develop healthier and more effective ministry practices
• Think through leadership and church-related issues
• Establish sustainable work rhythms and paradigms

Our goal is to help ministry leaders become healthier, more effective, and better equipped to serve their congregations.

MAC offers a 12-week discipleship cohort experience designed to help participants grow in their ability to listen for and respond to God through prayer, Scripture, community, and engagement with the world around them.

These cohorts create space for participants to grow spiritually while developing practical rhythms of discipleship and outreach.

Cohorts can be facilitated:

• Online, bringing together participants from multiple churches; or
• Within a local congregation, allowing a church to develop its own discipleship community.

Groups typically consist of 6–8 participants.
