Mission Alive (MA) formed in the USA in 2004 to help churches respond to mission opportunities, particularly in marginalized communities, close to home across North America.    As of January 2025, one of thirty MA church plants is in Canada: the Gentle Road Church of Christ in Regina, Sakatchewan.

 Mission Alive Canada (MAC) formed in 2020 to recognize the unique context, blessings, and challenges of planting churches in marginalized communities in  Canada.  By God's grace and provision and with church partners and trained missionaries, MAC will work to multiply church plants in marginalized communities across the country.
