OUR MISSION

Mission Alive formed in the USA in 2004 to respond to an observation that churches were losing sight of and not responding to mission opportunities, particularly in marginalized communities, close to home across North America.    As of January 2025, one of thirty Mission Alive sponsored church plants is in Canada: the Gentle Road Church of Christ in Regina, Sakatchewan.

 Mission Alive Canada was formed in 2020 to recognize the unique context, blessings and challenges of planting churches in marginalized communities in  Canada.  In 2025, Mission Alive Canada hired its first Executive Director who, by God's grace and provision and with church partners and trained missionaries, will work to multiply church plants in marginalized communities across the country.
